The books are free and they stay free. This page exists for the readers who finish one at two in the morning and want to do something about it.

Four novels, about 372,000 words, roughly two years. There is no publisher behind them and no advance — just hosting bills, cover art, and the time it takes to write the next one. A tip goes straight into that.

If money is tight, please don't. There are better ways to help and they are all free: tell one person, leave a review somewhere, post a photo of the cover. Word of mouth is worth more than the tip jar.

What it pays for

• Hosting, the domain, and keeping every file downloadable without ads.
• Cover art and the tools that make the EPUBs and PDFs.
• Time — the only thing that actually produces another book.

Tips are voluntary and not a purchase. Nothing is unlocked by paying, nothing is withheld by not paying, and no tip is refundable — though if something goes wrong, write to author@veramaddox.com and it will be sorted out.
